a couple of blogs that caught my eye rostitchery (tagline: almost perfect is good enough) has some good advice for beginning sewers which i should take to heart and i just adore the snowglobe postcards she made. while i'm most tempted i guess it's not the same if you have to go out and buy all the stuff rather than using up stash, then again, come next xmas i might have a mighty stash too ;)

further o/t i also love xtreme knitting (though she does have some sewing projects too). i'm very very taken by her nimbus jacket i wonder what my chances are of sweet-talking nanny into knitting for me?
