this piece is also rather a fudge but it works a treat. it’s worked as a spiral, but starts with a chain instead of a loop
| row | stitches | yarn colour |
|---|---|---|
| ch 20 | ||
| 1-3 | 20 | black |
| 4-6 | 24 | grey |
| fold the piece so black is inside then make 2 more sc so that you're in line with the starting chain | ||
| 7 | 24 | grey: make each stitch through the black starting chain too, bearing in mind the no. of stitches won't match exactly |
stuff body and head, join. sew eyes into eye surround. attach to head. embroider pupils (square!). embroider teeth and door (run a guide line of yarn from corner to corner to keep a straightish line on the verticals). attach fingers to arms and arms and legs to body. play!
