sketch a-week-tuesday
i won’t even attempt to excuse the week that’s missing altogether. one thing i’ve discovered lately is that while i like being busy, i hate being scheduled. my life has become increasingly scheduled recently. i guess it kind of goes with the territory with school aged kids, but i’ve also started committing myself to more regular things. not that i’m not enjoying the things themselves, i just find the inevitability a bit stifling sometimes.

Lovely sketch. I do know what you mean about being scheduled – I’m squeezing my creativity into short bursts between school runs and naps and playgroups – very frustrating sometimes and hard to be original and creative when the clock is ticking!

i like the idea of weekly sketch. Some scheduling is good either when you have an artists block or if you have too much on and start going around the twist. I have been inspired by your blog as i was always a sketcher since i was about 3 and i loved weaving at college when i was training to be a home economics teacher.
