i started to get very confused on the double moss stitch and gave up.

from knitty.com. having knitted up a swatch of the bfl i’m in love! it’s sooo soft and drapey. there should be just enough for scarf (i got 6 1/2 x 7 inches out of most of one of the short skeins, which is 1/6 of the total, so it’ll have to be a short one). hopefully i can manage something a little more exciting than plain stripes (which i wouldn’t wear anyway).

i think if i like it as it works up i might have to get more fibre and make it into a sensible length. i’m a bit worried about matching the yarn now though. i’m sure my second spindleful of the refreshers yarn is coming out much thinner and smoother than the first. i hope by the time i get back to the bfl i’ll still be able to do the soft puffy tufts.
